We’ve seen time and again how Congress has failed to address some of the most pressing issues of the day. And while the Safer Communities Act passed this past month was a good step forward, there is far more to do to improve gun safety.
As the Democratic Majority Leader for the Westchester County Board of Legislators, I helped pass two vital pieces of legislation making our communities safer:
LEGISLATION BANNING GUN SHOWS at the County Center sent a strong message that Westchester will no longer put up with America’s gun crazed culture
LEGISLATION PUSHING FOR NEW YORK’S RED FLAG LAW to take guns away and keep it out of the hands from those pose a threat to themselves and others, those who suffer from mental illness and have a record of domestic abuse
On August 23rd, you will have the choice to elect a representative with a proven track record of delivering results. I hope I have earned your vote.
