This is a huge development: following this week’s Republican primary, The Cook Political Report has changed the rating of our race from “Toss-Up” to “Lean Democrat.”

National experts are recognizing the strength of our campaign. But we can’t let up for one second. We must continue our voter outreach and organizing efforts to make sure folks across the district know that West Michigan needs an advocate in Congress and Hillary is the best candidate for the job.

But just because we have a slight edge doesn’t mean we have this race wrapped up. It’s been over 50 years since West Michigan sent a Democrat to Congress, and this district has never sent a woman to Congress on their behalf. But with your support, we can change that!
