In just a moment, we are going to ask you to make a donation to Ruben Gallego’s re-election campaign. Please give us a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so important.

Here’s the truth:

Tonight at midnight we close the books on our July fundraising drive. Two days later, we’ll know Arizona’s Republican nominees for offices up and down the ballot.

We need to be ready.

We need the resources to help Ruben win re-election.

We need the resources to help Ruben turn out huge majorities of Democrats in his district to propel Mark Kelly to victory.
