You see, the Hermon School Department tried to completely BAN Shawn from even attending School Board meetings – which are funded by the taxpayers!
Fortunately, a federal judge recently granted a temporary restraining order against the School Board and allowed Shawn to attend school board meetings and speak at the public forums.
As Shawn points out in his statement, the school board is WASTING taxpayer resources trying to sue him into silence and hide their radical curriculum from parents.
With your support, we’re defending Shawn with an Anti-SLAPP motion against the school board – as their suit against Shawn directly infringes on his First Amendment rights.
It’s critical that parents like Shawn are allowed to speak freely and demand transparency and accountability from their local elected officials.
