Hello -- In 2013, the conservatives on the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act of 1964, making it easy for Republican-run state governments to suppress minority votes.
For six years, Democrats have tried to fix it. All the while, counties across the country with the worst histories of voter suppression purged millions of names from the rolls, including 17 million just from 2016 to 2018.
Last week, the House passed H.R. 4, but only one Republican was willing to stand up to his party and do the right thing. With our democracy at stake in 2020, we need to know where voters stand today:
