On Wednesday, the first television advertisement of the election cycle supporting the Governor was released. Entitled, “Dear Governor,” the 60-second ad shares Floridians’ stories about Governor DeSantis and how his work to Keep Florida Free has impacted them.
Governor DeSantis put activist prosecutors on notice by suspending the State Attorney in Hillsborough County who declared that he would refuse to enforce laws he doesn’t like. Under Governor DeSantis’s leadership, Florida is, and will continue to be, a law-and-order state.
“State Attorneys have a duty to prosecute crimes as defined in Florida law, not to pick and choose which laws to enforce based on his personal agenda. It is my duty to hold Florida’s elected officials to the highest standards for the people of Florida.” — Governor DeSantis
Governor DeSantis is making it clear woke corporate bullies will not be tolerated in the state of Florida. He recently announced legislative proposals and administrative actions to protect Floridians from the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) movement, in which financial corporations defy their fiduciary duty by favoring individuals and business who advance a woke ideological agenda. This is a direct threat to the vitality of the American economy and Americans’ economic freedoms.

Florida’s First Lady Casey DeSantis this week unveiled Florida Cancer Connect, an initiative which focuses on providing information on cancer treatment, caregiver tools, and stories from brave Floridians who have battled cancer on a centralized website.

As Florida students prepare to head back into the classrooms this fall, Governor DeSantis took to Twitter to simplify the media’s “confusion” about appropriate curriculum in Florida schools:
