Republicans keep reminding us of the extremity of their agenda if they take over control of Congress — taking away women’s right to reproductive health care, prohibiting marriage equality, taking away the right to contraception, protecting the gun industry over the lives of our children, and controlling and politicizing our election system.
We cannot let this become our future.
And if we send Mandela to the U.S. Senate, he'll be the deciding vote to abolish the filibuster and pass crucial legislation, like codifying Roe v. Wade into law and addressing the epidemic of gun violence.
