Friend, I wanted to quickly follow up to make sure you got the chance to share your thoughts in the survey I sent around (see below).

With the GOP primary fast approaching and less than 100 days to go before Election Day, our campaign is energized and on task. But in this pivotal final stretch when I need all hands on deck, I'm still waiting for another 17 grassroots members of this team to share their input before my strategy meeting tomorrow.

Hearing directly from top supporters like you is essential to building a winning campaign strategy that will protect the Senate for Democrats and deliver progress for the American people. So please, before midnight tonight, will you take our new August Priorities Survey (only takes about 45 seconds) to shape our strategy in the crucial weeks ahead?

Thanks so much for taking the time. Your input will be a big help.

Dick

Friend,

Our nation is approaching a critical turning point – and the fates of millions all depend on whether we take decisive action right now. Just look at what's at stake:

* Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are threatening to institute a nationwide ban on abortions if they take back the Senate in November – all made possible by the Supreme Court's egregious decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and strip millions of women of their reproductive freedom.

* Justice Clarence Thomas signaled that the precedents protecting contraception and same-sex marriage could be in jeopardy next.

* Formerly once-in-a-lifetime climate-related disasters are happening with almost weekly frequency, but the fate of historic climate protecting legislation hangs in the balance in this Senate, with its 50-50 split.

The facts are clear: We must do everything we can to protect and expand our control of the Senate and stop the GOP's extremist agenda – or millions of Americans will be in danger of losing their most fundamental personal rights. That's why, as Election Day closes in on us, my campaign is ramping up its efforts to protect this seat – and your direct feedback is critical to improving my strategy.

So Friend, I have to ask: Will you please take a moment to share your top priorities and concerns with me? My team just put together this quick survey, and I'm counting on 38 more grassroots supporters to respond before midnight.

The Supreme Court's latest term was awful for progress, but it wasn't random. For decades now, the GOP has been gearing up to restrict the rights of women, block our attempts to stop the gun violence epidemic, and limit our ability to fight climate change – and they've finally built the Supreme Court of their dreams.

But there are signs of hope. This week, voters in Kansas – traditionally a politically conservative state – voted overwhelmingly to reject an amendment that would have removed the right to a safe and legal abortion from their state constitution.

Friend, this much is clear: The GOP's far-right, extremist agenda is not representative of the majority of Americans' priorities – but if we don't do everything we can to maintain and strengthen current control of the Senate, we may be powerless to stop them. That's why I'm committed to doing everything in my power to keep this seat blue, but first I need your support to help me build the best possible strategy.

Please, will you share your feedback on our newest strategy now? We just added a number of campaign strategy meetings to our calendar for next week, and I wanted to give this powerful grassroots team a chance to be centered in our work.

Thank you,

Dick
