Folks – I’ll be honest with you: I’m a bit of a policy nerd.

I’m not in Congress to get TV interviews or see my name trending on Twitter. I’m in Congress to uplift Oakland County in any way I can.

One of my proudest accomplishments is recovering over $100 million in federal funds for MI-11 residents and businesses. Now, I know making sure people receive the benefits they’re entitled to probably won’t get me a primetime interview on CNN, but this stuff matters.

These funds come from my casework program that helps everyday people with issues before the federal government – like veterans trying to untangle bureaucracy, people whose disability checks got lost, or small businesses seeking assistance with COVID-19 relief paperwork. These are real conversations and real work I have done for the people of Oakland County.

Being a Congressperson is more than just interviews or notoriety. It’s about showing up and getting the job done. For four years, I’ve been getting the work done for MI-11 in any way I can, and with your help, I’ll keep fighting for this district for another term.
