As governor of Kansas, I've always maintained that reproductive health care decisions should be between a person and their doctor, and I know that the team at the DLCC believes the same.
But on August 2nd in Kansas, extremists tried to force their will on all of us by attempting to amend our constitution. I'm proud to say that Kansans stood up for our fundamental rights and rejected government overreach. But our work isn't done.
The dark money groups behind the August 2nd vote are now refocusing their efforts on my election – and those same forces are hell-bent on making sure extremists control statehouses across the country.
