** Following Shrieking Statement, NYYRC Extends Gala Invite To NYS Democrat Chair Jacobs In Show Of Magnanimity
------------------------------------------------------------
New York State Democratic Committee Chairman Jay S. Jacobs has issued a statement ([link removed]) condemning the New York Young Republican Club’s 110 Annual Gala, which will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022. This is unsurprising; in recent years, Democrats have attacked our Annual Galas for all sorts of reasons. They’ve attacked our speakers and they’ve raised spurious allegations that our Annual Gala would violate (obscene) government regulations. And this year, they’re performing exactly as we expected.
In 1860, our direct predecessor organization, the Young Men’s Republican Union, hosted Abraham Lincoln at the Cooper Union for a speech that many historians consider the announcement of his presidential campaign. Democrats were livid.
Today, they are angry that we dare to invite one of the most effective members of Congress, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and one of the most intrepid investigators of Democrat misdeeds, Jack Posobiec, to speak to our members. Yet, we will not be cowed, we will not be intimidated, and we will not allow their totalitarian impulses to impact our decision-making process.
Democrats are intent on destroying the nuclear family, exposing children to sexual perversion, and inculcating hatred for our nation in its people. The New York Young Republican Club rejects these deleterious values and embraces in their place those which made our nation great.
We embrace free speech, not hate speech; we embrace the diversity of ideas as a source of strength, not diversity of arbitrary physical standards; we embrace strong leaders with track records of success, not senile geriatrics better suited to a nursing home than to the halls of power. And we look to leaders in America and throughout the world for inspiration, including Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, whose performance the international Left continues to deride only because they fear his success.
Democrats accuse us of inviting “white supremacists” to this event. By “white supremacist,” they mean people who offer a genuine dissent to the establishment narrative. Unlike Chairman Jay Jacobs, the New York Young Republican Club embraces real democracy and strives for a society where people can worship publicly, question and disagree with their government, and maintain independence from major corporations.
In recent years, our Club has welcomed numerous intrepid patriots to speak at our Annual Galas, including Congressman Matt Gaetz, Steve Bannon, James O’Keefe, and Mayor Rudy Giuliani. We look forward to hearing from Congresswoman Greene, Mr. Posobiec, and further speakers yet to be named.
We have held our Annual Gala every year since 1911 when President Taft first addressed the crowd. We did not stop for World War I. We did not stop for the Spanish flu. We did not stop for World War II. We did not stop for the China Virus despite “Dr.” Fauci, Andrew Cuomo, and their ignoble supporters’ best efforts. And we are not stopping now.
“We welcome all perspectives at our Annual Gala. As he is one of New York’s most prominent leftwing extremists, we formally invite Chairman Jacobs to speak at our event in the name of a fair and open society. We will extend to him a free seat, somewhere close to the front, as long as he dresses appropriately and does not abuse the open bar,” New York Young Republican Club President Gavin M. Wax stated.

** NEW GALA SPEAKER:
Congresswoman
Marjorie Taylor Greene
Joins The
New York Young Republican Club's 110th Annual Gala
------------------------------------------------------------
Join the New York Young Republican Club for our 110th Annual Gala featuring Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) and Jack Posobiec, the Senior Editor at Human Events.
The New York Young Republican Club is the oldest and largest Young Republican club in the United States, incorporated in 1911 with predecessor organizations dating to 1856.
On Saturday, December 10, we will hold our 110th Annual Gala, just as we have done through every major world event, including both World Wars and COVID-19, since our foundation. We are excited to welcome back both members and guests for a black-tie evening featuring an open bar, passed hors d’ouvres, and a seated meal as we hear from high-profile national speakers, mingle with special guests, and discuss opportunities for the advancement of our mission.
Stay tuned for the announcement of more speakers!
The New York Young Republican Club continues to promote the future political leaders of America by advocating for their involvement in local government, as elected officials, and within major political organizations. The Club is officially recognized by the New York State Young Republicans, Young Republican National Federation, as well as county, state, and national Republican committees.
The New York Young Republican Club was created in 1911 to promote and maintain the principles of the Republican Party. Our mission since then has been:
To promote and maintain the principles of the Republican Party: to foster within the Republican Party and make practical in service of the municipality, state and nation, the idealism characteristic of youth; to correct in our own party that tendency of all parties to make organization an end rather than a means; to develop sound principle and public spirit in party politics; to promote honest and fair electoral mentors, to the end that the expression of the popular will by whatever party or body, shall be as free, untrammeled and equal as possible; to resist and expose political corruption; to advocate merit rather than partisan service as entitling to public office; to watch legislation and encourage public attention to and efficiently criticize the conduct of government.
