Jaime was raised by his grandparents in South Carolina.
Growing up, Jaime’s family didn’t have much, but they taught him the important things: hard work matters and character counts.
He knows what it’s like for a family to have to choose between paying the electric bill and putting food on the table. But Jaime was able to earn a scholarship to Yale University and attend Georgetown Law, and he’s spent years helping to get Democrats elected up and down the ticket in South Carolina and across America.
Now, Jaime is running for Senate to fight for opportunity for all South Carolinians, and he knows that when your community needs help, party labels don’t matter.
