It's not lost on me that I was one of only two Democrats to unseat a Republican and flip a Senate seat in 2016. After Democrats across the country lost up and down the ballot, New Hampshire bucked national trends, squeaking out a victory by just 1,017 votes.

Our win was a rare moment of celebration in an otherwise sobering, awful election.

Now, six years later, Democrats are facing an even tougher political environment, and the stakes are much higher.

Polling shows me down by two points to an anti-choice opponent, and political experts from Rachel Maddow to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight are saying I'm in a difficult reelection fight.

I know that we can buck national trends again to win in New Hampshire, just like we did in 2016 – but it's going to take all of us working together.

Considering the margins of my last race, it’s not hyperbole to say that this election could come down to what you do right now. With the Senate majority hinging on this seat, I hope I can count on you.

Please chip in any amount to win in New Hampshire and stop Mitch McConnell from regaining a GOP majority in the Senate.
