Friend – Dr. Fauci announced his intention to step down at the end of President Biden's first term, after decades of public service. But now, Republicans revealed that if they win in November, they will launch an investigation into him and the COVID-19 pandemic response.

Despite spending more than half a century in public health, serving every president since Ronald Reagan with dignity and leading us through the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Fauci has continuously faced attacks and threats from the GOP. This plot to undermine him and his work is just the latest Republican effort to spread conspiracy theories.
