On this week’s episode of Pod Save America, the guys were discussing the state of the midterm races around the country. Here was Jon Favreau’s verdict on Nevada:

“Nevada is tough, and Nevada in the last couple of elections has started drifting in the wrong direction.” 

He’s right. Listen, we always knew this election would be tough: In 2018, Aaron won by a margin of just 4,533 votes. And in a tough year for Democrats – like this year – when our state is drifting in the wrong direction and Republicans are working overtime to restrict the right to vote, it’s going to be too close for comfort. 

john, this is especially true because the Republican nominee for attorney general is so extreme that over a dozen members of her own party have endorsed Aaron and formed a Republicans for Ford committee. 

This election is not a choice between red and blue. It’s a choice between a proven leader and a radical conspiracy theorist. 

We don’t have a lot of room for error here, so we need to make sure we have all the resources necessary to fight back against Scary Sigal and attacks from the far-right.
