I’ve received contributions from Vermonters from more than 200 towns across all 14 counties who believe that now is the time for pragmatic, next-generation leadership in Washington. I haven’t been supported by outside groups, so this campaign runs entirely on small-dollar contributions from grassroots donors like you.
Our statewide leadership – and especially our congressional delegation – has long been a source of Vermont pride. With an open congressional seat for the first time since 2006, this primary presents a special opportunity. Senator Leahy and Governors Dean and Kunin know that it’s time for the next generation of Vermont leadership to step up.
I’m proud of my experience – my legal experience, my foreign affairs experience, and my experience as your Lieutenant Governor. I’ll put my resume up against anyone in this race.
