Our Annual Local Convention will be on Saturday, September 17th from 12-4pm! This will be conducted BOTH in-person and Zoom. More information forthcoming.

Per our Local’s Bylaws, “The Local Convention will be the highest deliberative body of the Local to amend its structure and decide the political priorities of the Local between Local Conventions.”

This is a time to connect with fellow anti-capitalist comrades on the priorities of our Chapter! We plan to have a keynote speaker (if you have suggestions, please let us know!), discuss bylaw amendments, and much more.

In the spirit of continuous improvement, any Sacramento DSA dues-paying member can submit Bylaw Amendments to be voted upon during the Local Convention. The current Bylaws can be found here: https://sacdsa.org/resources/bylaws/

Any Bylaw Amendment must be submitted by Thursday, August 18th, 2022 by 11:59pm PT.

Bylaw Amendments will be compiled by the Local Convention Working Group in preparation for the Annual Local Convention.
