Hi John, it’s Charles Booker, Democratic nominee for Senate in Kentucky.
I’ve been an underdog for as long as I remember. I grew up in one of the poorest zip codes in Kentucky. I’ve been homeless. The odds were always stacked against me.
But I was determined to bring change to my community. So despite those odds, I went to law school. I became the youngest representative elected in Kentucky. And now I’m the first Black nominee to run for U.S. Senate in Kentucky.
My story is Kentucky’s story. For too long, we’ve been told that we’ll forever be a red state. For too long, we’ve been told that change is impossible for our Commonwealth.
But I know that together we have the power this election to rewrite our future. The last time Rand Paul ran in a midterm election, he only received 26% of the votes of all registered voters in Kentucky. We CAN win by lifting up the voices that get ignored and turning out voters who have felt left behind.
But to make this happen we need your support right now.
Will you split a contribution of $5 or anything you can between The Collective PAC and my campaign to power our voter outreach efforts? Every dollar you give helps us knock on more doors, train more volunteers, and make more phone calls to Kentuckians.
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately and split between Charles Booker and The Collective PAC.

Here’s something most political pundits fail to mention: Kentucky is a state where the number of people who don't vote outnumber those who do. Where voters holding marginalized identities have a harder time casting a fair ballot than those who don't.
Regular people are fed up and tired of being ignored. We are done with the days of politicians like Rand Paul exploiting us and making a mockery of our lives. If we organize and work hard these next months to get our message out, we can replace Rand Paul.
That’s why I’m proud to be fighting for REAL solutions this election including Medicare for All, student debt cancellation, and a Kentucky New Deal. It’s time we pass policies that center working people and the folks who are struggling the most.
I am ready to give Kentucky something new this November. But beating Rand Paul will require significant resources and funding. And with only a couple months left, there isn't much time to lose.
This campaign doesn't accept a single penny from special interests or corporate PACs. It's 100% funded by grassroots supporters like you. Please chip in whatever you can today to help us organize hard and scale our voter outreach work.
Thank you for your support, John.
