The Inflation Reduction Act — the reconciliation bill that Republicans can’t use the filibuster to block — would be a gamechanger.

It would make corporations that have gotten away with paying zero dollars in federal taxes pay their fair share with a corporate minimum tax. It would invest hundreds of billions of dollars in clean energy jobs and lower the outrageous costs of prescription drugs. And it would significantly reduce the deficit that exploded under Trump and Mitch McConnell’s tax scam law — written by corporate lobbyists and passed through reconciliation in the dead of night.

The Inflation Reduction Act would be a huge win for Minnesota and working people everywhere, and that’s exactly why Republican opposition is so fierce.
