Voting

The New York Times reports, "In 4 Swing States, Election Deniers Could
Oversee Voting" after anti-democracy extremists won Republican primaries
for Secretary of State Tuesday in Arizona and Michigan -- both key
battleground states.

The Times: "These nominees present a growing risk to traditions of
nonpartisan elections administration and orderly transfers of power…Their
history of anti-democratic impulses has even prompted some fellow
Republicans to question whether these officials would oversee fair
elections and certify winners they didn’t support."

PCCC members were the first national activists this cycle to fight back
and begin strengthening the campaigns of pro-voter, pro-democracy
Democratic Secretary of State candidates.

[ [link removed] ]With the threat getting more severe by the day, can you donate to the
campaigns of Democratic candidates for Secretary of State in Arizona and
Michigan who will ensure the fairness and integrity of the 2024 election?

Here’s more from the NY Times on the anti-democratic extremists seeking to
control the 2024 election:

"Each has spread falsehoods about fraud and illegitimate ballots,
endorsing the failed effort to override the 2020 results and keep former
President Donald J. Trump in power…

"In Arizona, Republicans nominated Mark Finchem, who marched at the
Capitol on Jan. 6…Finchem has made his willingness to flout democratic
norms and his promotion of conspiracy theories central to his campaign…

"In Michigan…Kristina Karamo, who has called the 2020 election fixed and
baselessly claimed that Dominion voting machine software flipped votes to
Mr. Biden, is the party’s presumptive nominee for secretary of state…

"Victories by these candidates in November could lead to sweeping changes
to how millions of Americans vote."

Allowing anti-democratic extremists to take control of our elections is
not an option. Elections must be administered by candidates who believe in
and will fight for democracy -- not against it.

in Arizona and Michigan have the resources to fight and win.
