You’ve probably heard the old quote: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Well, CPI has officially entered step four.
Several corporate media outlets have run panicked articles about CPI in the last few weeks. MSNBC. Grid News. Axios. National Public Radio. They were meant as attacks, but each piece reads to me more like a commercial!
For years, CPI flew under the Left’s radar, but our recent winning streak has finally caught their attention. Rather than taking a victory lap, I wanted to reach out with a heartfelt thank you.
There has never been an organization like CPI before. That was always the idea. We’re not another think tank. We’re not another PAC or even a traditional pressure group. We are a service organization committed to making the conservative movement better.
We fill gaps in the line, wherever we find them. We train conservative staffers and help them find jobs in congressional offices. We offer meeting rooms, minutes from the Capitol, to conservative Senators and Representatives to huddle and strategize.
We incubate new organizations and give them administrative support. We help them fundraise. We help them interview and hire. We maintain state-of-the-art studio facilities that enable conservatives to get their messages out without the corporate media filter.
In the five years since CPI opened, conservatives have won victories never before imagined possible. The Trump presidency. The end of Roe v. Wade. Peace agreements across the Middle East. The most significant political realignment since Ronald Reagan’s. Every institution the Left rules today – from San Francisco to public schools – is discredited and crumbling.
Meanwhile, a new Right is emerging – to take on not just the Left, but the Establishment, Big Business and Big Tech, and woke socialism wherever we find it. The media is only now catching what we have known for years: a new American movement is rising, and it will not be satisfied with empty promises from either party.
For over a year now, CPI partner organizations have been beating the Left in court, in the states, in the public debate, through election monitoring, on social media and cable news, and in public polling. Our policies – from stopping the border invasion to breaking up Big Tech – have never been sharper. Our messages have never been more persuasive. Our research has never been more thorough.
And it’s only getting better.
With CPI as the one-stop shop for Washington conservatives, our fighting, principled leaders will be better equipped to take on the Left and the Establishment. We’re building a winning conservative culture that has never existed in this city before.
But it’s only possible because of you. Your vision. Your foresight. Your support. You are why this model – a conservative support organization – got off the ground and is now reshaping American politics.
Everything CPI does is for our partners. But we never forget that our first partners are our supporters. We are proud of the Right’s recent victories, but we know credit for them goes to you.
