We are pleased to announce that Sherice Brammer, Communications Officer, and Andrea Kent, Program Officer, are new members of the program team at the Foundation. Sherice is responsible for implementing our communications strategy, as well as social media, website management, and collaborating on communications opportunities inclusive of grantees. Andrea is responsible for identifying, managing, and evaluating grant opportunities that support the Foundation’s programmatic direction, including oversight of the Young Scholars Program. Sherice and Andrea are excellent additions to our staff and their contributions will help to fulfill the Foundation’s mission.

We are also delighted that new members, Elena Fuentes-Afflick and Deann Morgan, have recently joined our Board of Directors. Elena is currently the Chief of Pediatrics at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Professor and Vice Chair of Pediatrics, and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, at the University of California, San Francisco. Deann is a Strategic Advisor and most recently served at Blackstone as a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer in the Multi-Asset Investing Group. Both, Elena and Deann, bring immense knowledge to support the Foundation’s mission and efforts in connecting research to policy and practice to enhance early childhood systems.
We greatly appreciate our current Board of Directors for their service to the Foundation:
