Africa & Europe
Pray for the many young children from regions across Ghana who are at risk of being separated from their families and trafficked into forced fishing labor. IJM is actively working with authorities in Ghana to rescue children from Lake Volta. As we prepare to send more teams, pray to the Lord for the rescue of these vulnerable children.
Latin America
Praise God for the conviction of a Bolivian man who was found guilty of sexually abusing two young girls, marking IJM Bolivia’s 150th case. On June 17th, the aggressor was sentenced to 25 years in prison after IJM had been supporting the case for over three years. Praise God for this strong sentence and for an end to this extremely challenging case but please pray for the complete restoration of these two survivors!
South Asia
Praise God for the recent conviction of 21 men who paid for sex with minor girls.
These men were arrested in 2017 during a rescue operation at a hotel that was operating as a brothel. Since then, IJM has been supporting the legal case to hold these customers and the brothel managers accountable for their role in sex trafficking. The customers were all found guilty this summer, which is only the second time buyers have been convicted in this state. Praise God for the judge who made justice possible and pray for strong convictions in the remaining trials for the brothel managers.
Asia Pacific
Pray for our office in its provision for a security provider and identification of preferred vendor for airfare. A security provision will help our Cebu Office in efficiently booking airfare flights for training and meetings outside Cebu.

IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Praise the Lord for the success of several IJM events and partnerships! During the past couple of months, IJM teams were preparing for a number of fundraising and partnership events. The teams are optimistic about the outcome of these activities that took place in several US cities.
