Good morning JOHN,
Climate champion Catherine Parker is on the radio today, Saturday August 6, as WRCR [[link removed]] rebroadcasts an episode of her appearance on “Tough Times with Lou Young”, which originally aired in February before she decided to run for Congress in NY CD 16.
The 2-hour talk/music show focuses on climate change and the environment. Parker was featured for her groundbreaking leadership as a Westchester County Legislator in creating an Office of Conservation and Sustainability in Westchester and passing an impressive body of legislation, much of which was ultimately mirrored by NY State. The episode she is featured in concentrated on the proliferation of EV’s— electric vehicles.
The show is hosted by Lou Young, an award winning journalist and Trustee in the Village of Mamaroneck. Guests include Jesse Glickenhaus, scientist, inventor and principal at Scuderia Cameron Glickhaus— an exotic car company which is entering a Hydrogen powered hybrid truck in the Baja 1000.
The episode, which first aired February 12th, is also available in podcast form on Spotify.
The rebroadcast airs from 1 to 3PM Saturday August 6 on WRCR AM 1600 and WRCR.com [[link removed]]
