Don’t DRAG Our Kids Through This ✋





I remember a time when Sundays with the family meant mornings at church, lunch
at a local diner (Vol Market), and if we behaved ourselves, some soft serve to
top it off.



Now, the radical woke left is turning simple pleasures into an indoctrination
zone…



Last week, the Blount Pride Festival

hosted a graphicdrag queen story time
<[link removed]>
for children in the centrally located Jack Greene Park. The Blount Pride
Festival was branded as “family-friendly,” but nothing shouts “cover your kids’
eyes” like drag queen story time. Kids were invited to write “encouragement
cards” for gay teens and participate in an “Intro to Queer History” workshop.



Are you kidding me?



I’m all for letting people live their lives, but this isn’t “live and let
live.” This is the indoctrination of our children, plain and simple.



Blount County families should be able to enjoy a stroll in the park without
worrying about their children being exposed to inappropriate performances. We
need to send a strong message that this is unacceptable. We need to keep our
streets welcoming for families and children.
