After embarking from the Panhandle earlier this week, we just wrapped up our “Killed at the Pump” tour this afternoon in South Florida.

We launched this tour to raise awareness of the grim financial situation facing Floridians and the lack of leadership by Ron DeSantis and Ashley Moody to help struggling families. They could act to help the people of Florida who are being killed financially — but they clearly don't care.

As Daniel and I traveled from the Panhandle to Miami, making stops all along the way to fill our tank and talk to voters who were filling up alongside us — it's not surprising that the expenses began to pile up on our journey, like it does every day for hardworking Floridians. Floridians are getting pinched: rising housing costs, costs at the pump, rent, utility rates, and property and homeowner's insurance rates. A real attorney general would investigate these price gougers and the corporate greed hurting everyday Floridians. At every stop, Daniel had powerful conversations with Floridians who are getting squeezed. Just today, a voter told us his rent just shot up $900 with no warning.

Trust me when I say that after spending countless hours in the car with Daniel this week driving across Florida, it's clear that he is the candidate we can count on to fight to protect consumers and hold DeSantis and Moody accountable for their failures.
