Trump-Endorsed Candidate Leora Levy Denounces Out-of-Touch Democrats
GREENWICH, CT - While speaking to members of the press early this morning, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont took aim at U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy. In recent days, Levy has gained significant momentum after attracting national attention to the race with an endorsement from President Trump, just days ahead of Tuesday’s August 9 primary election.
Levy, the Trump-endorsed Republican candidate for U.S. Senate and conservative outsider, released the following statement calling out Connecticut Democrats for being out-of-touch and extreme on the issues.
"Shame on Lamont who tries to 'sell' Connecticut as an abortion sanctuary to companies! Why not make Connecticut a business-friendly environment by cutting taxes and eliminating burdensome regulations? That will bring business and jobs back to Connecticut!
"It is obvious to all Americans that Democrats, like Biden, Blumenthal, and Lamont are out-of-touch with the issues that matter most to Connecticut voters."
