We can achieve lifesaving results when we put people before politics. Just recently, we did the unthinkable: We passed the first comprehensive gun violence prevention package in three decades. This progress is long overdue, and it’s a big step in the right direction. But as we saw from the Supreme Court’s disgraceful ruling, there’s still more Congress needs to do to protect our families.
