Dear John,

Your voice is needed right now. The U.S. Senate is going to vote soon on the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. This bill is the single largest U.S. investment in climate and clean energy, ever! With this historic bill, we will put the country on the path to creating jobs and opportunities for all, while reducing the pollution that drives climate change.

The Senate will take up this bill as early as this weekend. Senators need to hear from their constituents that the public supports this critical bill. Tell your Senators to take a stand for bold climate action and vote “yes” on the Inflation Reduction Act. ([link removed] )

We’ve all seen the news: from extreme weather and deadly heat waves, to raging wildfires, to worsening hurricanes and floods, communities across the nation – especially those that have traditionally been overburdened by pollution – are bearing the brunt of the climate crisis.

From ramping up clean energy and electric vehicle production, promoting sustainable agriculture practices and coastline restoration, and providing a $2 billion investment in the popular Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), the Inflation Reduction Act will put us all on a path to a clean energy and green economy.
Time’s running out, and we simply can’t afford the cost of climate inaction any longer. Message your Senators now so you can urge them to support this bill! ([link removed] )
