Dear friend,

News is exploding this week over a federal judge's ruling that a lawsuit on behalf of a survivor of child sexual abuse images against Visa can move forward. This lawsuit alleges that the payment processor knowingly facilitated the distribution of child pornography on Pornhub. In the ruling, the Judge alludes to the fact that NCOSE alerted Visa to these crimes through its advocacy campaigns.

More good news followed as both Mastercard and Visa also announced that they will extend their policies not to process funds for Pornhub memberships now to also stop processing payments for advertisements on the MindGeek's pornography websites.

This is an incredible step forward and you helped make it happen! However, the work is not yet done and your help is needed.

Although Visa has announced that they are further cracking down on the use of their products for all MindGeek-related companies and products (such as Pornhub and TrafficJunky), Visa is still processing payments for other massive players in the commercial sexual exploitation industry, such as XVideos and XHamster, that are also rife with the same crimes.

We need everyone reading this to take just 30 seconds and complete this easy-to-use action that will send emails directly to officials at Visa calling on them to stop doing business with the commercial sex industry.

One of NCOSE's top goals is to dismantle the infrastructure that holds up the online pornography industry, which has merged with sex trafficking, child sexual abuse, and many other abhorrent crimes of sexual abuse and exploitation. Together, we've seen many victories recently as we've gone after distribution partners, financial institutions, and advertisers, and with the growing flood of lawsuits we have spurred.

Visa Must Face Lawsuit from Sex Trafficking Survivor, Judge Rules

Dani Pinter, Senior Legal Counsel for the NCOSE Law Center, helps unpack the judge's ruling regarding Visa's motion to dismiss and what it means for the case moving forward.

Have You or a Loved One Been Exploited by a Pornography Platform?

An accomplished assembly of survivor-focused and commercial litigation law firms, including the NCOSE Law Center, have jointly filed a class action lawsuit against MindGeek, the parent company of Pornhub. The representative class members are two survivors of childhood sex trafficking whose videos and images of their sexual abuse were posted on Pornhub and other MindGeek-owned sites.

We know that the plaintiffs in this case are not the only people who have been victims of MindGeek. We hope others will join them in this class action lawsuit to fight for justice and to put an end to MindGeek’s exploitation empire once and for all

We are grateful for your partnership with us! Thank you for believing that we don't have to accept sexual exploitation as the norm in our culture.

In implementing our strategy over the last three years, we have created a prototype and proven that it can be successful. We are now the recognized subject matter experts in this area of the law. For example, we are reminded and encouraged that when Pornhub deleted more than 11 million videos from its platform a year ago, it publicly blamed NCOSE for its problems.

If our model is fully actualized and scaled up, we can destroy the online pornography and sex trafficking industries as they exist today. We have seen encouraging process in a very short time.

If you are able to, would you help us to scale the winning strategy inflicting the most damage to evil abusers with a donation today?
