Folks—I gotta be honest, I’m struggling to type this email because I just ate my weight in deep-fried treats and something called “Crack-N-Cheese” at the Ohio State Fair.

But let me tell you what, the only thing rescuing me from this food coma I’m in right now is the support and energy I just felt from so many of our supporters on the ground here in Ohio.

I’ve spent the last several hours talking to union workers, parents, students and hardworking, everyday, boots-on-the-ground Ohioans. And after visiting with so many of you, I’ve never been more confident about the direction our campaign—and Ohio—is headed.

Look, I know the polls have us beating JD Vance by a couple points. But we won’t win this race because of a few good polls.

We’ll win the race that will decide Senate control because Ohioans have decided it’s time we protect abortion rights, pass voting rights legislation, fix our rigged economy and cut workers in on the deal.

Sure, JD has the full backing of Mitch McConnell and billionaire-funded super PACs. (Did I seriously just hear national Republicans reserved another $5 million to save his campaign?)

But while JD is counting on GOP megadonors to carry him to victory, I’ll have an entire army of grassroots supporters willing to do whatever it takes to expand our Senate majority and help the American people.
