It was great to be back in Iowa on my 39 County Tour! Last Saturday, my daughter Savannah was able to join me at the Plymouth County Fair. I spoke to constituents about the future of agriculture and stopping Biden’s reckless tax and spend agenda.

Economists agree, the so-called "Inflation Reduction Act" will only add on to the pain Iowans are feeling. This bill kills jobs, cuts wages and raises inflation. It would also add 87,00 new IRS agents, which would put more strain on our small businesses and families.

We need policies that provide relief for Americans, not ones that create more burdens for our families.

Tuesday, when I joined Charlie Stone, we spoke about Nancy Pelosi's trip to Taiwan. We cannot capitulate to China and let them dictate any American's travel or U.S. policy decisions.

The U.S. must stand strong against this political pressure and continue to strengthen our relationships with our allies.

On Tuesday, Governor Reynolds released a new statewide broadband map to report broadband availability. She asks the public to help identify areas where they believe the map may be incorrect.
