Help Me Fight Off The Special Interests Making a Power-Grab in Our District

You may have seen an article ([link removed]) this week highlighting the massive spending to unseat Democratic State Senators Robert Jackson and Gustavo Rivera. Both are facing challenges from the machine, and special interests are pouring money in to unseat these progressive champions.
Robert was elected during the same NoIDC wave as Senator Biaggi, and now, machine interests are committed to threatening our Democratic Majority in the State Senate by installing their loyalists.
This feels like a resurgence of the IDC,
John.
We fought too hard to allow this to happen - and I wanted to point your attention to another race that faces similar influence from the corporate interests that have blocked us from progress.
When Senator Biaggi decided to run for Congress, District 34 was left without a Senator. When I announced my run for New York State Senate, it was to build upon the grassroots work we started when we took on Jeff Klein and won four years ago! ([link removed])
Though the Senate race for District 34 is not gaining the attention it did four years ago - we still face the same threats!

Our campaign is also up against an IDC-backed candidate. My opponent, Nathalia Fernandez, supported and campaigned for Jeff Klein until the very end.
Now, Fernandez has accepted support and contributions from several special interests who have only the worst intentions for New Yorkers.
My opponent has accepted financial support from:
☑️ The Walton Family. Walmart heirs with a history of influence in New York Politics.
☑️ IDC member Marisol Alcantara.
☑️ Republican-backed, Pro-Charter School Lobbyists.
Let me make one thing clear,
John,
District 34 is not for sale – and we need a state Senator who can’t be bought and sold. It’s disgraceful that our opponent who talks about investing in our youth has sold out our children to the hedge fund billionaires!
You and I know that accepting that support is out of step with these communities. We fought too hard to defeat the IDC, and we can't let them come back!
