It’s past time Congress finally takes action and makes Election Day a national holiday.

It’s quite simple: A national Election Day holiday would allow more eligible Americans to participate in the most important element of our self-government and strengthen our culture of civic duty.
Our leaders should welcome and encourage these outcomes rather than fear and impede them.
