Honoring the Lives of Congresswoman Walorski and her Staff I am heartbroken to hear the news coming out of Indiana. Congresswoman Walorski and two of her staffers tragically lost their lives. Jackie and her staff fought tirelessly for Hoosiers across her state, and she was a wonderful colleague in the House. This is a huge loss for the entire Congress. Read more HERE Democrats Move to Raise Taxes and Inflation Democrats' $433 BILLION spending package will raise taxes on American job creators and actually make inflation WORSE over the next two years. Kansas families are already dealing with soaring gas, food, and housing prices. We can't afford any more reckless federal spending. According to the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation, almost half the tax burden from Democrats' $433 billion spending package would fall on families making less than 200k. Kansans are already struggling to keep up with soaring inflation, and now Democrats want to pile on more taxes. Visiting with the National Retail Federation Great joining the National Retail Federation last week, and I'm honored to have received the Hero of Main Street Award. Retailers are struggling to keep up with inflation, supply chain issues, and worker shortages. We must focus on policies that help American businesses succeed. Standing Up to Big Tech Censorship Big Tech platforms are the modern town square. It’s vital we preserve free speech in these digital spaces. I joined my fellow colleagues on the Big Tech Task Force to hold tech companies accountable for suppressing free speech in America. Thank you to the Border Patrol Agents that work tirelessly to keep fentanyl and other drugs off our streets. Celebrating 232 Years of the Coast Guard Happy 232nd birthday to the United States Coast Guard! Thank you to all the men and women serving in the USCG who safeguard our nation's shores and waterways.
