Now that we're in our general election push to unseat Michele Steel, our next big task is to quickly raise my name recognition amongst Democrats and undecided voters across this district.

Our field team has been doing an excellent job getting the word out on voters' doorsteps. Still, we'll also need to run a robust communication plan that includes mailers, TV and digital ads, and even some radio segments. We start these programs this month.

CA-45 is one of the few districts in the country that's both held by a Republican and home to a much larger share of Democratic voters. That gives us a huge opportunity to defeat Michelle Steel in November and play a key role in keeping the House blue.
