John–

Earlier this summer, we shared that Facebook has been failing to stop
dangerous gun sales on its platforms in a shocking way. Even though
Facebook says it prohibits unlicensed gun sales, it actually lets gun
buyers and sellers violate that rule 10 TIMES before it kicks them off its
platforms.

To make matters worse, even gun purchasers or sellers who actively call
for violence or praise a known dangerous organization still get five
strikes before Facebook kicks them off its platforms.

With lives at stake, that kind of leniency is unacceptable.

That's why over the course of the last several weeks, we've been raising
the pressure on Facebook to stop unlicensed gun sales and give no second
chances. Nearly 50,000 people have already joined me in making their
voices heard.

[ [link removed] ]Despite tens of thousands of people speaking up, Facebook has yet to
act. Let's build the pressure even more so we can get Facebook to change
its rules, once and for all: Share this graphic with your friends and
family and encourage them to demand action.

Just like unlicensed gun sellers shouldn't get 10 strikes, neither should
Facebook.

Moms Demand Action has a lengthy history of getting corporations to
realize their role in stopping gun violence, and getting them to act
accordingly.

To get Facebook to change its dangerous policies on unlicensed gun sales,
we need to put that grassroots muscle to work again.

Thank you for being a part of this movement.
