Hello,
Last week, we lost a friend, an activist, and a force for good in this world. Zahra Abbas fought for what she believed in, including everyone having equal access to health care. She brought light, joy, and hope to everyone she met.
Zahra was the first Arab American woman to serve as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention. She was a trailblazer for women and will inspire future generations.
Zahra was a devoted advocate for the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan as well as the entire epilepsy community.
Will you join me in making a contribution in Zahra’s memory to the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan to support the more than 108,000 people living with epilepsy in our state? Your support helps provide the resources, education, and social programs to help those living with epilepsy lead happy, healthy, and full lives.
