If you’ve been keeping up with the news lately, you’ve probably been following the Senate races across this country. From Pennsylvania to Ohio to Georgia, Democrats are putting their best foot forward.
That can’t be said for the Republican party. Every election year, they turn out new and obscure idiots that would otherwise never have touched politics. It’s bizarre at this point. Where are they finding these people?
Georgia’s GOP candidate is truly the embodiment of this insanity. They’re running Herschel Walker, a former NFL star with no experience in politics, as their candidate. Though he’s certainly no politician, Herschel Walker is a lot of things. He’s a fraud and a deadbeat and has more than his fair share of scandals. He’s lied about graduating from the University of Georgia, he’s been involved in domestic violence. And yet the Republicans didn’t think twice about putting him on the ballot? Against a man like Rev. Raphael Warnock?
Well, if the Republicans aren’t thinking twice, Walker certainly is. He just recently accepted Senator Warnock’s challenge to debate after avoiding it for so long. What, is he afraid? He should be, because Senator Warnock’s going to crush him.
Senator Warnock’s the right candidate for Georgia. He’s an esteemed community leader with years of experience under his belt. He’s already been Senator since 2020 – he knows the job, in and out. This is a man who understands the needs of his people and is ready to serve them in Congress. Senator Warnock understands the pressing needs of this country and is willing to address it.

He’s a proud supporter of reproductive and LGBTQ+ rights, as well as a believer in climate action. He has co-sponsored important legislation in Congress and is against Big Money in politics. Meanwhile, Herschel Walker couldn’t explain to you a single piece of legislation for anything. A guy like him is a shill to the Republican party and whoever pays him more. But Senator Warnock stands against all that. He’s a man of values.
As strong a candidate as Senator Warnock is, he can’t win without your help. The GOP still has a grip on Georgians, and many of them will vote red no matter what, even with Herschel Walker on the ballot. That’s why we need to fight back against them, and sway the middle – those people who can turn the tide and win this for Senator Warnock.
