What a crazy world! The US added a staggering 528K jobs in July, more
than double the 250K expected. This is a significant increase from
last month's upwardly revised 398K (up from 372K) and the highest
since February's 714K!
IS HAPPENING WHILE THE US IS IN A TECHNICAL RECESSION AND TECH
COMPANIES ARE MASS-FIRING THOUSANDS OF WORKERS?
According to the current figure, nonfarm employment overall has grown
by 22.0 million since April 2020, when it hit a low point and returned
to pre-pandemic levels. Compared to February 2020, private sector
employment has increased by 629,000, however some industries have not
yet fully recovered. Compared to before the epidemic, there are
597,000 fewer government employees.
We think this means the Federal Reserve will definitely continue to
INCREASE RATES.
There is going to be RED in the markets as BEARS take charge.
Although we don't think this a good time time to invest, you may be
wanting to watch for deals.
