Friend,
This past year Republicans have made strides in restoring common sense law and order in the Commonwealth. We at the Republican Party of Virginia want to highlight the fantastic work our Delegates and Senators in the General Assembly were able to accomplish this past session.
Today, we highlight Scott Wyatt and his dedication to fighting for our law enforcement community. Delegate Wyatt represents the old 97th and new 60th District in Richmond and fought hard to raise the salaries [link removed] of our men and women protecting our communities.
Before Republicans took back the House last fall, School Administration was not required to report certain violent, sexual, or other egregious misdemeanor crimes to local law enforcement or parents. Delegate Wyatt sponsored HB 4 [link removed], which requires our school systems to report such crimes–keeping our students safe in the classroom.
Republicans are leading the way to make Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family. Be on the lookout for more GOP Wins from this last session as we continue to thank our great elected officials for the hard work that they are doing!
