The countdown has begun, John: We're officially less than 100 days out from Election Day.
In one of the most competitive gubernatorial races of the election cycle, I can't afford to lose a single drop of momentum right now – not when I'm up against a Trump-style Republican, Mark Ronchetti, who denies basic climate science, refuses to condemn white supremacist groups, and wants to ban abortion.
But with Republicans pouring money into Ronchetti's campaign to defeat me and take New Mexico backward, political experts have downgraded my chances of winning.
That's why I urgently need your help. I’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 before midnight tonight to make sure we can kick off this final stretch with the resources we need to take on and win against the GOP.
Please, will you donate $5 now to keep New Mexico blue? With just 95 days left until Election Day, every second and every dollar counts.
I couldn't be prouder of the work I've done for our state, from legalizing cannabis to safeguarding abortion access. But all of our hard-earned progress will be immediately undone if Ronchetti replaces me in November and pushes his radical GOP agenda.
As New Mexico’s – and our nation's – first Democratic Hispanic woman to be elected as Governor, I am determined to make sure this never becomes a reality, but I can't do that without an immediate surge in grassroots support.
With so much on the line, will you please donate $5 before midnight to help me reach my $10,000 goal, win in New Mexico, and defeat GOP extremism?
This is the most important stretch of my fight. Thank you for standing by my side.
