Hey John — Doug Mastriano is no stranger to the dangerous, extreme ideas that would keep us all up at night. He’s been publicly associated with groups that spread neo-Nazi ideas and actively promotes alt-right extremism.

We don’t know the full extent of the extreme beliefs that Doug Mastriano holds – but we do know what he’s shared on the record, and it’s dangerous to say the least. Here’s just a few of the unhinged beliefs that Mastriano has shared on the record:

• Abortion: Doug Mastriano has said that his “#1 issue” is a total ban on all abortions across the Commonwealth — with no exceptions for rape, incest, or life of the mother. When asked about his position, he said: “Her body, her choice is ridiculous nonsense.”
• Guns: Mastriano’s solution to the growing number of school related shootings is to arm our teachers while simultaneously making it easier to purchase deadly assault weapons without accountability.
• Climate Change: “Fake Science.” – Doug Mastriano’s thoughts on the climate crisis that is now impacting every human on the planet.
• Democracy: Mastriano has pledged to kick voters off the rolls, requiring every single Pennsylvania to re-register to vote. When asked about the 2024 election, he said he wouldn’t hesitate to decertify the results of the election ”with the stroke of a pen.”

Pennsylvania has always been a beacon of democracy. But Doug Mastriano has clearly lost sight of this as he openly fights against our democracy, our children, and their future.
