This morning, Governor DeSantis announced that he was suspending a duly elected Democratic State Attorney because he refused to enforce Florida’s extreme abortion ban. 

Once again, Ron DeSantis is behaving more like a dictator than “America’s Governor.” He’s overturning the will of Hillsborough County voters — all so he can continue to control Florida women, take away our freedom, and enact his radical agenda. 

We can’t sit back and let this happen. We need to stand together and fight back to protect our rights and stop Ron DeSantis before it’s too late. If you’re with us, click here to chip in $25 and help elect Senate Democrats to hold DeSantis accountable.

This is a shameful political attack on an elected official who was simply doing his job, fighting injustice and protecting Floridians' rights. And it sets a very dangerous precedent for our state.

Ron DeSantis continues to make it clear that he will always put partisan politics over the democratic will of the people.
