The Blue Action Fund is pleased to announce a new open call for proposals focussing on ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) to climate change in the Western Indian Ocean. This is a new funding window which provides individual grants to selected NGOs for projects in Madagascar, Mozambique, South Africa and Tanzania that support coastal and marine ecosystem-based adaptation and sustainable livelihoods. We expect to fund projects with a total volume of up to EUR 30 million. Concept notes are due by May 24th, 2020, midnight (CET).
Please ensure that you carefully read Blue Action Fund’s Grant Procedures Manual and the Environmental and Social Management System, which both provide detailed information on funding objectives and requirements.
Blue Action will also offer an online Q&A session for organisations interested in applying. The session will take place on January 29, 2020 from 10am – 12pm (CET). If you plan to participate, please send an email to [email protected]. Depending on the interest, we might offer additional sessions.
