Here's why I'm asking:

This bill — the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 — is the biggest climate bill in history. It’ll cut pollution in half by 2030 while creating millions of good-paying jobs in clean energy and reducing energy costs for working families in California and across the country.

And we’ll pay for it by finally making the largest and most powerful corporations in the country pay their fair share in taxes.

Climate change is one of the greatest threats facing our nation and our planet. And the truth is, every day we wait to act is another day we continue to live with the devastating consequences of climate change. More frequent and severe storms, deadly heat waves, rampaging wildfires here in California... this is all happening right now, not in some far-off future.

We have got to act now, and that means passing this climate bill now. So please:

Join me in calling on my colleagues in the Senate to take up and pass the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 right away.
