Here’s a promise, folks: I will always put you and our planet first.

That’s why I’m working so hard to pass the Inflation Reduction Act to help cut down the costs you’re paying every day and take once-in-a-generation action to address the climate crisis at the same time. And it’s why I just proudly supported the PACT Act to honor our promises to our veterans and expand healthcare coverage to those exposed to toxic burn pits.

But our work is far from over. I want to know what issues you want me to tackle next.

You may have noticed that I reach out about once a month to ask what’s on your mind. That’s because your priorities help shape the work I take on here in New Mexico and in the Senate.

Last month, many of you said addressing climate change, protecting reproductive rights, and enacting common-sense gun safety were important to you. Those issues are at the top of my priority list, too.
