Hey John – I’ll be brief. I want to give you an idea of why the NDRC needs to be in the fight for fair redistricting for the long haul.
First, because Republicans keep trying to rig the maps, lawsuits are ongoing. We can expect them in places like Ohio, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, and Texas (those states have a whopping 101 U.S. House seats between them!).
Second, some maps will need to be redrawn after the 2022 elections. So we need to invest in new technologies, data, and mapping innovations.
Third, our movement has helped pass redistricting reforms that secured fair maps in states like Colorado and Michigan – but it’s not enough. We have to be able to build on those successes to achieve powerful reforms in even more states.
(That’s not even mentioning our work to keep the GOP from completely undermining American democracy!)
The bottom line is that none of our work can happen without your help. So if you’re ready to commit to securing fair elections for all, will you give to the NDRC at this special link? https://secure.actblue.com/donate/ndrc-stayinfight
Thanks so much,
Claire

Since 2017, the NDRC has executed a comprehensive redistricting strategy that shifts the redistricting power, creating fair districts where Democrats can compete. Our victories have been made possible by our strong community of grassroots supporters. |
