I hate to break it to you, but Mad doesn’t really drink beer all that often. Given the choice, she prefers a glass of chardonnay, so I was a little surprised when she mentioned celebrating International Beer Day earlier this week.
And while she isn’t a big beer drinker, Mad is always game to raise a glass in support of local businesses that strengthen U.S. manufacturing capabilities. American Keg, located right here in PA-04, is one such business – and they’re also the only steel beer keg manufacturer in the United States. Companies like American Keg bring well-paying, family-supporting jobs to our local communities, and there is nothing my sister enjoys more than helping individuals and small businesses across PA-04 succeed.
That’s why when American Keg was having issues sourcing American-made steel for their kegs, Mad and her team stepped in to help. You can read more about her visit to American Keg here.
Supporting local businesses and getting to pour a cold beer? That sounds like a win-win to me.
So, thank you for letting me take this moment to reach out and let’s raise our pints to Mad and the local businesses of PA-04.
Sincerely,
Bob
