Biden Justice Department sues Idaho over state’s abortion restrictions

Team, after Roe was overturned, the Department of Justice vowed to protect and advance reproductive freedom and use every tool at their disposal to ensure pregnant people get the emergency treatment they need.

Now they’re SUING Idaho over a near-total abortion ban that they say would conflict with a federal law that REQUIRES doctors to provide pregnant people with lifesaving treatment that could include abortion.

But the Idaho GOP is fighting tooth and nail to defend their dangerous abortion ban, and Republicans across the country are considering similar bills. We need to show them that the American people won’t stand for their attacks on reproductive freedom.

That’s why we’re asking 34 supporters from your area, including YOU, to stand with Attorney General Merrick Garland and the whole Biden administration AGAINST abortion bans like this one.
